The second annual A Mother’s Wish 5K/10K Walk/Run will take place on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Lake Orion High School.? Last year’s inaugural event included 500 participants and raised’more than?$24,000.?’So far’this year,?27 women and their families have benefited from A Mother’s Wish, which has provided them with’financial assistance, equipment needs, comfort items, groceries and other’neccessities’as they fight the disease.?
