The Oxford girls varisity basketball team continues to dominate the court as they beat Birmingham Groves 57-36 on Jan. 31 bringing their overall record to 13-2 and their league record in the OAA White to 11-1.
Scoring was led by the Murphy sisters. Jessica put 19 points on the board, while her older sister Miranda contributed another 14, plus seven rebounds.
They play again Friday away against Andover.
‘If they can get through next week unscathed, they stand a very good chance of winning their first league crown in a number of years,? said the team’s Stats Keeper Brian Murphy.
