Corie Auger
Corie Auger has been named to the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at Grand Valley State University, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music.
The primary objective of the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is the recognition and encouragement of superior scholarship and character in all academic disciplines. Undergraduate students are eligible for consideration who have senior status and are scholastically in the upper 10 percent of their class; or who have reached the final period of their junior year and are scholastically in the upper 5 percent of their class.
Auger is the daughter of Josie and Pete Auger of Ortonville.

Alan Cole
Alan Cole was named to the dean’s list at Eastern Kentucky University with a 3.5 grade point average for the 2011 spring semester.
Cole is majoring in marketing and finance at EKU and is in the ROTC program. He is the son of Tom and Kathy Cole of Ortonville.

Chelsea LeMarbe
Chelsea LeMarbe graduated magna cum laude May 7 from Bowling Green State University with a major in applied health sciences and a minor in marketing.
She was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority for four years and will attend graduate school in the fall to obtain a doctorate of physical therapy.
LeMarbe is the daughter of Meshell Hewitt of Ortonville and Jeff LeMarbe of Waterford.

Hannah Stowers
Hannah Stowers has been named to the dean’s list for the 2011 spring semester at Central Michigan University.
The 2010 Brandon High School graduate is the daughter of Russ and Holly (Downing) Stowers of Groveland Township.
