Two pack of Wolves added more to their win columns last week.
The Lady Cagers remained undefeated after their battles against Chippewa Valley and Rochester Adams.
They opened the week against Chippewa Valley with a 54-35 win.
They opened the game scoring 15 points in the first quarter and kept the momentum going throughout the game. Defense kept Chippewa Valley to ten points in the second half and only allowed three points in the final quarter.
“We played very well defensively,” said Clarkston Girls Varsity Basketball Coach Tim Wasilk.
Delaney Kenny and Erin Davenport led the team scoring 15 points each. Davenport had six steals and four rebounds. Kenny had seven rebounds, five steals and four assists.
Megan Hastings added nine to the board, scorin two 3-point shots. Christina Jokisch scored eight points during the game.
The girls followed it with a win over Rochester Adams last Thursday, 41-27. Hastings was the leading scorer with 13 points, scoring one 3-pointer. She had six steals, five rebounds and three assists.
Kenny had seven points, five rebounds.
Davenport had seven rebounds and Erika Davenport had five points and nine rebounds. Anna Manilla posted six points and had six rebounds.
“We played really good defensively against Rochester Adams,” said Wasilk. “We created a lot of steals and deflections. We slowed them down defensively in the second half and made a lot of good decisions with the basketball offensively in the second half.”
They played their first OAA Red league game on Tuesday against Pontiac, going in with a 4-0 record.
The Lady Wolves host Southfield-Lathrup on Friday night, their last game before going on winter break.

Icers were the other Wolfpack to take down two opponents, beginning with Salem on Dec. 7 with a 4-3 win.
Jacob LaPorte selled the win scoring with 15.7 left in the game off teammate Eric Matynowski’s pass.
Clarkston got on the board in the second period with goals from Matynowski and Zach Gootee. Garrett Polish scored the first goal in the final period to tie the score.
The boys added another win going against Farmington Hills Unified on Saturday night, 3-1, putting their record 3-4-1.
The Wolves host their Christmas Tournament this weekend. They open against Hartland on Friday at 5 p.m.
The consolation game is 12 p.m. on Saturday and the championship round is at 2 p.m. All games are at Detroit Skate Club, 888 Denison Court, Bloomfield Hills.
