BHS AP Scholars
Outstanding academic performance earned 22 Brandon High School students recognition from the College Board because of their scores on the Advanced Placement Program (AP) Exams.
The College Board’s AP Program offers students the opportunity to take challenging college-level courses while still in high school, and to receive college credit, advanced placement, or both. The students have been designated ‘AP Scholars? because of their performance on the exams. Cody Hibbs was given the AP Scholar with Distinction Award. Justin Bis, Erica Iceberg, Gregory King, Phillip Koenig, Megan Lung, Sarah Privette, Andrew Reed, William Tahaney and Joshua Wiley earned the AP Scholar with Honor Award. Corie Auger, Keith Cordner, Kimberly Cottrell, Paula Getzmeyer, Colin Jones, Anthony Lawrence, Tyler May, Matthew Meyer, Hannah Mollett, Christy Robinson, Jeanne Romlein and Monica Walls all qualified for the AP Scholar Award.

Brandon Junior Equestrian team
The Brandon Junior Equestrian team finished first of the ‘A? teams at the Oakland County (Davisburg) fairgrounds on June 7, 2009. The team also won the Best Sportsmanship Award.
