Clarkston’s 12U baseball team BC Hawks won first place in the Flushing Baseball Tournament, June 20-21.
The Hawks defeated the Flushing Raiders, Dearborn Diamondbacks, Waterford Nationals, Howell Highlanders and Huron Valley Patriots in the championship game for a 5-0 record for the weekend.
The first-place win followed a second-place finish in the Canton AA Classic Tournament, June 6-7.
The BC Hawks are a first year team in the North Oakland Baseball Federation league and includes boys from Clarkston and Brandon.
They are coached by Greg Glover, Guy Wardell and Tom Jones.
