It was a tough way for the varsity boys soccer team to end their season as they lost 2-1 to Davison in the opening round of district play on Monday, Oct. 17.
The Wildcats went up 1-0 on a goal from Chase Garavaglia, which was assisted by senior Michael Kitchner.
It looked like Oxford would head into halftime with the lead, but Davison scored to tie the game at one.
Davison put the nail in Oxford’s season when they scored with less than 20 minutes left in the second half.
The Wildcats ended the season with a 11-5-3 record.
