The Lake Orion Education Foundation (LOEF) is hosting its sixth annual Evening for Education, on Saturday, Nov. 12 at Canterbury Village. The event starts at 6 p.m. with cocktails, hors d’voeurves and silent auction. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The evening also will feature casino games and dancing. $95 per person, $175 per couple. LOEF sponsors the Lake Orion Community Schools, the OLWEUS bully prevention program and provides grants to teachers for innovative educational endeavors.
