A team of Carpenter Elementary fifth-graders recently won third place from among 69 teams in Oakland County’s annual ‘Imagineers? competition. Pictured are team members Jessica Hamzik, Sara Muenz, Jason Turner and Michael Sharp. The team was coached by Doug Turner, and designed something which fills a need and solves a problem using K’Nex pieces and ordinary household items.
