Preparations are underway for Clarkston’s Labor Day Parade, sponsored by the Clarkston Rotary Club, Monday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m.
Parade route will be Church Street to Main Street, north through downtown Clarkston to Miller Road.
This year’s parade theme will be “Michigan Automobiles ? Back to the Classics.”
“The Clarkston Rotary is proud of its 69 years of sponsoring the Labor Day parade,” said Rotarian Joel DeLong. “Rotarians enjoy being a part of the community, and being involved in many community service projects and events.”
The parade will include classic or antique cars, organizations, businesses, musical groups, marching bands, floats, equestrian groups, and children and families on decorated bikes.
