Clarkston leaves Highlanders in wake

The Lady Wolves won their meet against Rochester Adams last Thursday, 94-92.
The Clarkston High School Girls Varsity team finished in first place in eight of the 12 events.
Megan Stelpflug and Sami Stelpflug helped two relay teams with their finishes. With Kathryn Culver and Natalie Vela, the Stelpflug sisters, the 200-yard medley relay team finished in 1:51.71. Culver, the Stelpflug sisters and Monica Gorgas finished within 3:42.22 in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Sami also took first in the 200-yard IM, 2:10.08 and the 100-yard butterfly, 1:00.91.
Megan finished first in the 200-yard freestyle, 1:55.38, and the 500-yard freestyle, 5:07.70; and Culver finished led the way in the 50-yard freetyle, 24:80, and 100-yard freestyle, 54:32.
The win put the Lady Wolves record at 2-1. The next meet is against Lahser on Thursday, 6 p.m.
