Clarkston Medical welcomes all to open house

Clarkston Medical Group and McLaren Health Care Services invite you to celebrate with them at their Grand Opening on May 30 between 1-4 p.m. at the McLaren Health Care Village campus, located on Bow Pointe Drive off Sashabaw Road.
‘I think when people get there and see the whole thing, they see the new building and the cancer center, I think people will be amazed by all the services we can provide there, but also give people an idea that this is really just the beginning of this campus, that’s going to be where most of us get our healthcare in this area,? said Dr. Tim O’Neill, president of Clarkston Medical Group.
‘It’s taken a lot of people working together, McLaren, CMG, and a number of other area doctors,” he said. “In essence it’s a day to celebrate all of our hard work even though there is still a lot of hard work to be done.?
The Grand Opening will feature tours of the Clarkston Medical Building, the Great Lakes Cancer Institute-Clarkston, and the Garden of Healing and Renewal. The day will also include a wide range of free entertainment options, refreshments, health screenings, and raffles. Some of the featured activities include performances by Clarkston community and school musical groups, games and children’s activities led by Independence Parks and Recreation, performances by Quest for Change youth troupe, demonstration by the Clarkston High School robotics Team RUSH and face painting.
Kevin Tompkins, vice president, marketing for McLaren said they are ‘delighted? they are opening ‘on schedule, on time and on budget with all projects.?
‘The project has come out very nicely and we’re happy to have phase one complete,? he said. ‘We are looking forward to having a nice open house so the community can come out and see what has been accomplished there.?
