Forty-five students involved in Clear Lake Elementary’s Peacemakers Team spent Saturday, Dec. 10 serving the communities of Oxford and Orion.
In the morning, they stopped by Oxford’s K9 Stray Rescue League and donated $210 raised from selling homemade dog biscuits. They also brought various dog supplies for the kennel.
They spent their afternoon at Bortz Health Care of Oakland playing bingo with the seniors, and delivering homemade cookies and gift bags to their ‘adopted grandparents.?
The Peacemakers Team works all year long to maintain relationships with their ‘grandparents? at Bortz and strives hard to increase awareness and raise funds for the K9 Stray Rescue League. Keep up the good work!
