It was a plesant evening Friday night, as a good size crowd showed up to Depot Park to listen to the voices of Barbara Payton and Jessica Carmichael.
The concert was a benefit put on by non-profit group Lend a Helping Hand to assist local individuals struggling with cancer, including Addison Tong, a 3-year old with leukemia, and Caleb Cale, 9-months-old with Stage 3 neuroblastoma cancer.
‘This was our first time and we raised $2,000,? said Michelle Phaup, LAHH founder and executive director. ‘We plan on booking a few concerts again next year.?
