The Clarkston Village Players are holding auditions for their upcoming January production ‘Sylvia,? by A.R. Gurney, on Oct. 16 at 4 p.m. and Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. Auditions are held on the Depot Theater on White Lake Road.
In this unique comedy, Greg finds the answer to his mid-life crisis in Sylvia, a dog he found in the park. Greg’s wife Kate views Sylvia as a rival for affection, and Sylvia thinks Kate just doesn’t understand the relationship between man and dog. Can marriage survive ‘Man’s Best Friend??
Roles are available for six characters: Greg, Sylvia, Kate, Tom, Phyllis and Leslie. A caution for those interested in auditioning: this production features adult language and swearing will be part of the audition. Also, the role of Sylvia is highly physical. Please come to auditions prepared to move.
