The Downing Clinic is now in their 15th year of serving the health care needs of Clarkston and the surrounding areas.
Laura Kovalcik, DO, Dr. Downing’s daughter, a board-certified internist is continuing to expand the services at the clinic with the addition of new staff. Staying true to the practice’s philosophy of using natural supplements where possible and traditional medicine where that is the best solution, the clinic has added new staff and services.
Ann Heusted , RN, will be providing EDS and nutrition consulting services. Ann has worked with hospice; is an ordained minister; has had advanced training in Bach Flower Remedies, homeopathy, nutrition; and is a Parish Nurse. Her wonderful background and positive attitude will be a valuable addition to our practice.
Sharessa Tackett, RN will provide IV Therapy services.Sharessa has over 10 years of nursing experience both inpatient and in special treatments like ION Cleanse Foot Baths. Sharessa is very knowledgeable of integrative medicine and will be an excellent resource for patients receiving IV therapy.

New Service ? ION Cleanse Foot Bath

The clinic has added a new, very gentle form of detoxification. This treatment is the ION Cleanse Foot Bath. The foot bath treatments are just that, the patient comes in and places their feet into a foot bath which contains water and an ion generator. It is a relaxing and effective way to reduce toxins in the body.

Good-Bye to Valued Staff ? Jan DeVary Retires.

Jan DeVary retired at the end of January after 10 years with The Downing Clinic. She is a highly skilled Electrodermal Screening specialist and also a certified Herbalist. Jan helped many patients with her expertise ? she will be missed. We wish her all the best in her new path and know that she’ll be doing something to help others!
