The Independence Township Fire Department continues to sell emergency reflective address signs at all three fire stations. The $15 signs come in green or blue with gold or white letters and are available a day or two after the request.
According to Engineer Paramedic Mike White, half the fee goes for materials and the other half helps support the Fireman’s Fund, which assists citizens in need. White said the signs make nice gifts, yet help emergency responders find destinations which can be difficult. For more information all 248-625-1924.
