Independence Township Senior Adult Activity Center hosts a Flu Clinic and Mini Health Fair, 1-4 p.m., Oct. 7, at the Carriage House, 6000 Clarkston Road.
Visiting Nurses Association provides flu shots free with Medicare Part B and many Medicare Advantage plans, BNC, HAP except Cigna plans, Priority Health, Health Plus of Michigan and most Blue Cross Plans. Cost is $25 per shot if you do not have insurance.
The fair will also include local health related businesses. No appointment necessary.
