BRANDON- The Blackhawks are heading into the post-season playoffs with a second place standing in the Flint Metro League.
They grabbed a late win over Bay City Central on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 53-50.
Mitch Brady led the fray for the Blackhawks with 16 points. Gino Torelli added eight and Nick Emery and Tom Mahaffy each contributed six.
Torelli grabbed 12 rebounds while Tom Scheafer nabbed eight. Kris Nicaj had six assists.
The Blackhawks move on to district play on Monday, March 3, when they will face the Oxford Wildcats at Oxford. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
