About 125 volunteers showed up at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Clarkston last week to help assemble a whopping 15,000 nutritious meals for hungry families.
‘God provides for everyone,? said Senior Pastor Jonathan Heierman. ‘He provides for the less fortunate through us.?
About 30 percent of the meals will be distributed in Oakland County through Lighthouse, while the rest will nourish hungry folks aund the U.S and worldwide.
The event was also sponsored by Kids Against Hunger and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
