Steve Hyer reclaimed his position as president of Clarkston Board of Education, winning with a 4-3 vote at their annual organization meeting, July 6.
Hyer and board members Cheryl McGinnis, Susan Egan, and Barry Bomier voted for him as president. Board members Joan Patterson, Sue Boatman, and Rosalie Lieblang voted against.
Patterson was nominated for the office of board secretary, winning with a 5-2 board vote.
Boatman continues as board vice president. Lieblang was unanimously chosen to continue as treasurer.
