Lieutenant Colonel Jack Mason, of Clarkston, was recently awarded the Army Combat Action Badge by Major General William M. Lenaers, commander of U. S. Tank and Automotive Command, Warren, during a ceremony conducted on Dec. 7, 2005.
The badge was awarded for actively engaging enemy forces in Kabul, Afghanistan on Oct. 11, 2004.
