Jet’s Pizza has a family tradition of consistency, quality and customer service.
‘We make sure every pizza that goes out the door is made to our own standards,? said owner Tim Shamoun, who along with his brother Dave has owned and operated two local Jet’s franchises for the past 14 years ‘If it’s as good as we would make it for ourselves and our own family, we know our customers will be happy.?
And with a family the size of the Shamouns’mom and dad raised 11 kids’the brothers, along with six other family members who work between the two locations, have had plenty of practice creating the perfect pizza.
‘One of us is always in the store,? Tim said, noting he insists on the very best ingredients; from Dearborn ham to the most expensive cheese. ‘As family, we know everything that happens here affects our business in the long run.?
Both he and Dave, Tim said, are committed to being in the store to make customers are getting a great pizza and quality service.
‘We like our customers, and know many of them on a first-name basis,? he said.
And for good reason’in addition to pizza making, the family is also involved with the community and supportive of the Clarkston Wolves; Nick Shamoun’a son, nephew or cousin, depending on whom you ask, was the team’s starting quarterback during the 2007-2008 school year.
With one store located just inside Waterford, at 5332 Dixie Highway (248-623-8727), and the other in Lake Orion, at 1019 S Baldwin Road (248-391-3400), both Jet’s Pizza locations draw a large part of their customer base from Clarkston.
‘It’s a great community,? said Tim. ‘We love being a part of it.?
