Bowman has been a corporate sponsor for several years, said Jim Wenger, Independence Township treasurer and CAYA board of directors? member.
‘It’s been a base of support that’s really meant a lot to the organization and gets us on a good footing financially in terms of our organization, so we’re very, very pleased for his continued support,? Wenger said.
Bowman said he enjoys helping out and finds it to be a ‘very worthy cause.?
‘Helping youth assistance, getting them in the right direction, helping families out, it’s a good thing for our community,? he said.

‘All through the year, I see the benefits for the children and the families and it’s a wonderful thing to have the ability to help those families in the Clarkston community,? said Anita Demster, CAYA vice-chairperson.
CAYA, an arm of the family division of the Oakland County court system, was created in 1953. The organization focuses on helping at-risk youth in the Clarkston community. CAYA is located at 5980 Clarkston Road and can be contacted at 248-625-9007.
‘This is my second outing with Clarkston Youth,? said Joe Wouldron, CAYA chairperson. ‘I was always down in Royal Oak helping them out and I came up here and found Bowman’s support. I greatly appreciate that and we hope that next year he will support us again the way he did this year.?
