Independence Township Parks and Recreation hosts the Fall Color Kayak Tour, Oct. 10, starting at Bay Court Park and including up to five lakes.
Participants must pre-register with Parks and Recreation, and have own kayak and equipment, including personal flotation device. Tour is for ages 16 and up.
Parks and Recreation also still has spots open for Sporties for Shorties, a six-week program in which parents work one on one with their child, ages 3-5, in a supportive environment to learn basic skills of a sport.
Sign up for soccer and/or baseball. Classes are on Tuesday evenings.
