It was a tough game away against Ortonville-Brandon Tuesday night as the Oxford girls varsity basketball team lost to the Blackhawks 44-37.
Leading scorers for Oxford were sophomore Jessica Raisch with 11 points along with sophomore Joelle Harms and senior captain Danielle Esman, who each had 8 points.
The Lady Cats beat Holly 49-26 at home Sept. 14. Harms was the leading scorer with 8 points.
Senior captain Stacey Sutphin and freshman Allie Laidlaw scored 7 points each.
The team is 4-3 overall and 2-2 in league play.
