Leonard man arrested for Farmer Jack’s slumber

A 44-year-old Leonard man was arrested last Wednesday evening after passing out on lawn furniture at the Farmer Jack’s on Lapeer Road.
According to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Department report, the man had drool coming out of his mouth and could not understand the deputy’s questions upon being woken up.
The man was removed from the store and took a preliminary breath examination, revealing a blood alcohol content of .410.
He was taken to a nearby hospital for detox, and urinated in the back of the patrol car on the way.
The man was cited for disorderly conduct and the police vehicle was sanitized and put back into service.
