Congratulations to Leonard Elementary fifth-graders Thomas Spicuzza (left) and James Carroll for their impressive finishes in the school-wide spelling bee Friday. Spicuzza won the bee with the word ‘eradicate? while Carroll earned runner-up status. Spicuzza said he felt a ‘mix of scared and excitement? over his win.
