Those interested in preserving a defined, well-managed downtown district in Clarkston get a chance to voice their opinions when Main Street Oakland County, a group dedicated to such ideas, makes a presentation at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, in Old Township Hall, 90 N. Main.
The brief presentation will describe the National Main Street Program and provide a quick look at the program’s outcomes in Oakland County. MSOC officials said they “look forward to a lively, interactive discussion about Clarkston’s future in the Main Street Program,? and hope a broad cross-section of the community (residents, business and property owners, community event participants, and public officials) will attend.
