Hey mystery buffs . . . sit back and get ready for dark shadows, film twists and darker characters. It’s Film Noir Week! Our Movie of the Week is the 1950 classic, DOA (remade in the 1980s with Dennis Quaid in the lead). Well-known actor Edmond O’Brien tries to solve his own murder. Our Bonus Movie of the Week is from the 1940s — Scarlet Street. German director Fritz Lang (better known for the 1920s classic, Metropolis) takes a crack with this dark tale.
