Nicholas L Treinen of Lake Orion passed away on Jan. 6 at the age of 73.
Nick was born on July 16, 1939 to Linus and Dicksie Treinen. He is survived by his son, Mark (Debbie) Craven, daughter, Andrea (Zach) Hintz, sisters, Diane, Linda, Kim, and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Nick is also survived by his friend and companion Sharon Schaar.
A lifelong resident of Lake Orion, Nick was an active alumni and graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. Nick enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, playing bridge and spending time with friends at “The Shack”.
All are welcome to attend a Memorial Gathering on Sunday, Jan. 20, from 3 to 6 p.m. at St. Mary’s in the Hills, 2512 Joslyn Court, Lake Orion.
