No frightful sights, just fun at Friendly Forest

The Friendly Forest once again brings fun for two to nine-year-old children at Clintonwood Park on Oct. 22. Tickets are on sale now for the annual event at the Independence Township Parks and Recreation office.
Children and their parents will wind through an enchanted trail featuring their favorite cartoon and fairy tale characters collecting goodies as they go. Those who walk the beaten path of the Friendly Forest should remember to wear their Halloween costumes.
Tours through the Friendly Forest leave every 15 minutes from 4:30-7:00 pm. Tickets are $6 for residents and $8 for non-residents and must be purchased in advance for a specific time. Adults can escort children for free. Space is limited. Call 248-625-8223 for more information.
