Tuesday, April 4 An 18-year-old man was seen taking a CD player off of a shelf, cut open the box and hide it under his jacket at a store on Lapeer Rd. He tried to leave without paying and was issued a citation for retail fraud.
A man returned to his apartment on W. Drahner and found that his laptop computer and IPOD had been stolen. Dirty footprints lead to an open bathroom window. The suspects used a ladder to enter the second-level window.
Wednesday, April 5 A mother reported her son’s cell phone was stolen while he was at the middle school.
A 21-year-old man from Ortonville was cited for retail fraud after he was seen trying to steal a computer game from a store on Lapeer Rd.
Thursday, April 6 A 15-year-old boy at the high school jumped an 18-year-old boy from behind and sucker punched his face because he said her heard him talking about him. The boy was suspended for 10 days.
A homeowner on Metamora Rd. reported that someone broke into her barn and stole a horse saddle worth about $100 dollars. The door lock had been broken to get in.

Friday, April 7 A school bus driver called police after a silver Jeep disregarded her red flashing lights at a stop on Seymour Lake Rd.
Reports of a woman on E. Manor St. trying to kill herself by slitting her wrists. Her daughter called paramedics and she was transported to Crittenton Hospital for evaluation. Her husband said she’s been cutting herself for a long time.
A woman took her truck in for repair at a dealership on Lapeer and Clarkston Rd. When she went to pick it up she noticed her license plate was missing.
Saturday, April 8 A 22-year-old woman from Ortonville’s license plate was stolen off of her Volkswagon Beetle while shopping at a store on Lapeer Rd.
A resident on Pontiac filed a juvenile complaint with kids skateboarding at the church.
A resident on Moyer filed a juvenile complaint after she noticed kids skateboarding on the porch of a vacant house. The kids were told to stay off the property.
A resident was walking their dog on Woodleigh Way when a dog on a porch attacked his dog. The owner was nowhere to be found.
Sunday, April 9 A 21-year-old man on S. Coats Rd. contacted deputies after a Polaris ATV he purchased through an eBay seller was never shipped to him. The man sent $1,068 via Western Union to the eBay seller and has never gotten the vehicle.
A 53-year-old man from Dryden was arrested for operating while intoxicated on Lapeer Rd. He was stopped for going 73 in a 55 mph zone.
Police were called to an alarm at a business on Glaspie, but found the suite nextdoor had windows broken out.
A blue Mongoose bike was taken from a yard on Louck.
Monday, April 10 A deer was hit by a car on N. Oxford Rd.
A 33-year-old woman on S. Lapeer got into a physical argument with her boyfriend’s 31-year-old ex-girlfriend. The ex-girlfriend claims the current girlfriend called her and made threats.
An 80-year-old man from Lake Orion called police after the passenger side window of his Cadillac was broken out while he was shopping at a store on Lapeer Rd.
A 38-year-old woman on Worthington called police after her 44-year-old neighbor started yelling at her about not picking up her dog’s feces. The man picked up the feces and tossed it on her front lawn. She says she hasn’t had the time to pick it up because of her four jobs.
A 42-year-old man from Clio was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
A resident on Pontiac reported someone disturbing the peace.
A girl on Lakeville Rd. called police and reported she was being chased around by a group of girls.
An employee at a business on Glaspie called police after a customer threatened to burn the building down if his boat wasn’t released.
A motorist called police reporting that a red Mustang was hiding from a sheriff’s patrol car behind a medical complex on Lapeer Rd.
A resident on Park St. complaining because his neighbor is parking on his lawn.
