The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Clarkston hosts an Information Night meeting, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Clarkston United Methodist Church, 6600 Waldon Road. 248-663-3414.
Volunteers and teams are needed for the relaym set for May 9-10, 2009, at Clarkston Junior High School. Teams camp out overnight and take turns walking a track to raise awareness and funds to fight cancer. Teams are made up of family, friends, co-workers, schools and community groups. Volunteers help plan and run family activities, entertainment, team fundraisers, Luminaria Ceremony and Victory Lap.
