Flint —On June 6, Thomas Trim, 23, of Mt. Morris, was sentenced to in Oakland County Circuit Court after pleading guilty to weapons-firearms-discharge from a vehicle and assault with a dangerous weapon, both felonies.
Trim was arrested for shooting at another vehicle on northbound I-75.
At 6:20 p.m. on Feb. 22, the Michigan State Police troopers responded to a road rage incident that resulted in a shooting on northbound I-75 near Grange Hall Road in Groveland Township.
The victim was not hurt in the assault. Trim was sentenced to 105 days in jail and was given credit for 105 days already served. He also was ordered to two years of probation, must submit to drug testing, complete outpatient substance abuse treatment, complete anger management program and not possess any firearms or dangerous weapons.
