Candidates for Clarkston Board of Education have until 4 p.m., Aug. 10, to file with Oakland County clerk, 1200 N. Telegraph, Building 12 East.
Neither Trustee Elizabeth Egan, who currently holds the seat, nor anyone else has filed as of July 12.
The clerk’s office is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Candidates must be registered voters within the Clarkston Community Schools district.
The election is November 2.

The 2005 candidates for the four-year Brandon School Board seat are incumbent Nancy Strohschein; Laura Cracchiolo; D’Anna Keeble; and Diane Wiley. The election will be held May 3.
In Goodrich, four candidates have filed to run for two seats carrying two and four-year terms on the board of education.
Jeff Engleman and Carol Powers are challenging incumbents Michael Tripp and Shane Tiedeman.
