Members of the Orion Township Fire Department worked to extricate a driver from a vehicle after a crash at the intersection of M-24 and Flint Street on April 25. The accident happened during the Tuesday morning rush-hour, after a Saturn turning left onto M-24 from Flint was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck. The woman driving the Saturn was transported to Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious head injuries, and the driver of the truck refused medical treatment at the scene.
