At 7:30 p.m., Feb. 6 and 2 p.m., Feb. 7 at the Old Town Hall 486 Mill St. a benefit performance of ‘Tumbledown Town,? an original musical comedy by Dan Hazlett will be held to benefit the Brandon High School Choir.
Presented in a concert format? similar to the way radio plays of the past were performed’the performance includes a small town love story featuring humor, corporate espionage, tragedy and murder.
Ortonville resident Bob Marshall who is a member of the cast describes the play as reminiscent of old time radio plays similar to Garrison Kellor’s ‘Prairie Home Companion.?
