Two trials remain for ballers

The Clarkston offense hiccuped against No. 1 Southfield Lathrup on Nov. 3 as the Wolves lost 40-26.
The Wolves anemic offense managed only two points in both the first and fourth quarters of the contest, dooming their upset bid.
Lathrup’s Brittane Russell led all scorers with 13 points. Junior Chelsea Kouri spearheaded the Wolves efforts on offense with 10.
Clarkston’s tilt at Pontiac Northern on Nov. 8 finished too late for this edition of The Clarkston News.
To close the regular season on Nov. 10, the Wolves host Auburn Hills Avondale, who come into the contest at 16-2. While Avondale lost one of their best players in China Threatt for the season two weeks ago, the former No. 1 team in the state is ever dangerous.
Clarkston drew a bye in the opening round of their district which is hosted by Brandon High School. On Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m., the Wolves face the winner of Waterford Mott and Lapeer East game.
