Daniel Robert Hyde of Ortonville; died April 11, 2017. 

He was 69. 

Born October 30, 1947 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to the late Clayton R. and Margaret H (nee: Eick) Hyde.  He married the former Sharon Stokes on July 13, 1968 in Ortonville.  He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Hyde; four children, Pamela Hyde, Steven Robert (Linda) Hyde, Tony (Iva) Howitt and Tim (Yvonne) Howitt; one brother, Timothy Hyde; ten grandchildren, Kevin, Caitlin, Danielle, Jessika, Eric, Katelyn, Anthony, Daniel, Ben and Nina; eight great grandchildren; Elliott, Tyler, Aubree, Carly, Kiera, Abby, Danyee and Chelsealin; he is also survived by his best friends, the Hill family.  Daniel retired from GM – Orion.  Family will receive friends on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME-ORTONVILLE.  There will be no formal service.
