A celebration of Doug’s life will take place at 2pm with Father Andrew Czajkowski officiating. Dozer was born on November 28, 1994 in Pontiac, Michigan to Douglas and Mary Moors. He loved all sports! In high school, he was a proud member of the Goodrich varsity baseball and basketball teams. Continuing his love for sports, especially baseball, he attended Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, working towards his bachelors degree in sports management. While at CMU, he was Secretary and played 1st base for the Central Michigan Club Baseball Team, where he could scoop anything that came his way. He also worked in the CMU Athletic Department as part of the game day event staff where he loved working security for CMU’s home football games. In addition, Dozer recently completed an internship with the Michigan Bucks semi-pro soccer team in Pontiac, Michigan. During his summers and breaks from CMU, he took joy in working alongside many wonderful people at Colony Market in Grand Blanc (except when a customer walked in ten minutes before closing). During the summer of 2016, Dozer traveled to Massachusetts and worked as a camp counselor and baseball instructor for Camp Greylock, where he made many special friends from around the world. He was the first to greet attendees and other employees, always eager to lend a helping hand. Dozer was full of love for his family, friends, and the experiences he created with them. He was a caring, compassionate, and giving man that will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Mary Moors; sisters, Melyssa Rae and Allyson; grandmother, Paula Moors; aunts and uncles Maxine (Gary) Howard; Tom (Kim) Farver; Kim Moors; Ruth Massoud; Nick (Jennifer) Moors; Josh (Daina) Moors; Adam Moors, and great-aunt Joyce Pyle, along with many cousins, family members and special friends.
