GHS grad sings National Anthem

On July 25, Devyn Rae Mitchell, a 2014 Goodrich High School graduate sang “The Star-Spangled Devyn Rae MitchellBanner” at the start of the Detroit Tigers Kansas City Royals baseball game at Comeria Park on TRUEMU day.
Mitchell, was selected among all music students by the vocal professors at Eastern Michigan University to sing and represent the school. She is a vocal education major in her senior year. While completing her degree, Mitchell serves as a section leader and is involved the EMU choirs and teaches music in Plymouth providing vocal, guitar and piano lesions to youth.
Devyn is the daughter of Robin and Steve Mitchell, a teacher at Goodrich Schools.
