Goodrich — On Oct. 2, the Goodrich Varsity Volleyball team defeated Owosso 2-0 at Goodrich. Cody Tiedeman was the Player of the Game for the strong play throughout the contest, said Martian Head Coach Amanda Bailey.
“We played Owosso on Monday, and we had a little bit of a chip on our shoulders since they beat us earlier in the year and we felt like that was a match we let slip away,” said Coach Bailey. “We are 8-13, (3-3 in league play) after defeating Corunna on Wednesday night. We’ve had an up and down season so far but our young team is starting to gel and are playing much better.”
