Grand Blanc— On Jan. 6, the Goodrich Girls Varsity Basketball team improved to 8-0 on the 2023-24 season with a non-conference win over neighboring Grand Blanc High School in the Carmody Classic.
The Lady Martians trailed by three points in the third quarter and rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat the Bobcats.
GHS Jr. #1 Ella Place earned the game MVP with 17 points, four rebounds and three steals; GHS Sr. #11 Alexis Kosmowski scored nine points along with seven boards; GHS #12 Soph. Kayla Hairston and GHS Soph. #22 Tanner Schramm both had four assists. Schramm also had five rebounds.
