Atlas Twp. — On Nov. 16, Atlas Valley Golf Club, 8313 Perry Road, hosted their third annual “Sip & Shop.”
The evening event attracted about 40 vendors and 500 shoppers for a local pre-holiday gathering. This year more than $4,000 was raised for the community.
Andrea Hanks, Sip & Shop coordinator and a member of Bring More Good who organizes the event, said the event gathers neighbors and a great kick off to the holiday season.
“There’s a lot of need in our community,” said Hanks. “The gifts for sale are unique and all the funds are returned to those that may need a little help this holiday season.”
Hanks added that donations were provided for the recess equipment at schools, memorials for grieving families and along with other support.
