On Monday night the Groveland Township Board of Trustees voted 5-0 to appoint David Newbill to the township planning commission. Newbill, a resident for more than 13 years is a Flint Township area Certified Financial Planner. Newbill replaces Neil Sheridan who resigned last month to serve as Executive Director of the Michigan Township Association.
